In an effort to try and change my mind and believe that we MIGHT have free will. I tried to think of situations where it might exist. The only situation that I could think of is when you do something spur of the moment. This is because it isn't planned out by you and one might think that you decided what to do. I don't mean a situation where someone would change their outfit randomly but where someone just randomly picks up and goes to Vegas to get married. Now, someone might argue that it was planned for you to think of that idea, but I don't think that it could be determined because one choice that is extreme as getting married can change their entire life. This is because it opens and closes so many doors for that individual.
If it was predetermined it would be all thought out and there would be no randomness about packing up and getting married in a casino/wedding chapel combo. This is because I think that more things would hint toward it. This is because I usually have a feeling how a situation will end before it happens. But no one would honestly have a feeling that they will end up marring someone in Vegas. Therefore, I think that life changing spontaneous events are completely of that persons free will.
