Education

Plato believed that only the educated people should run the government. This is because he thought that the people who wanted to be educated should be educated. Therefore, they would get power easier and they wouldn't abuse it. This is because they would know the pros and cons to it all. I do not agree with this because of the fact that in our history alone, the people who abuse power the most are the highly educated. This is because they know how to manipulate people. For example, Hitler manipulated a whole country in to liking him right after World War One. The highly educated are, usually, the ones who abuse the power the most.
